My top pick for Lake George dining, Tavern on the Lake serves great food in a casual setting.

Perched on a hill overlooking the legendary Sagamore Golf Course, the Club Grill is Adirondack dining at its finest. Request a table on the covered patio for views of the mountains, or settle into the rustic elegance of the dining room. Their premium steaks, expertly-prepared fish and handcrafted cocktails don’t disappoint.
The Lake George Club

Despite its exclusivity as a “Members Only” dining experience, I couldn’t resist including The Lake George Club in Diamond Point on my list of the best places to eat in Lake George. While you’ll need to know one of the Club’s 300 members (or put your name on the waiting list) to get in, the food and service are worth the wait.
Chateau on The Lake

I pressed the Foy Family to buy this property at the end of Allen’s Alley in Bolton Landing for a couple of years. I thought it was the perfect fit for this family of restauranteurs, and it turns out, it was! In 2012, Buddy Jr. and his wife Jennifer Foy developed this unique shore front property and historic building into a "landmark" on Lake George. They’ve created a superior dining experience for guests willing to pay for the Chateau’s high level of sophistication.
